Preparations completed in vulnerable districts in view of possible flood risk: DG PDMA

Director General Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) Irfan Ali Kathia has said that preparations have been completed in vulnerable districts in view of possible flood risk.

In a statement, he said that monsoon rains will continue until Wednesday.

He advised people to avoid unnecessary travel in bad weather and refrain from touching electrical wires and poles.

He said that during emergency people can call PDMA’s helpline 1129.
