President House directs Pakistani embassy in Bishkek to ensure security of students

On the directive of President Asif Ali Zardari, the President Office contacted Pakistani ambassador in Kyrgyzstan and emphasized measures to protect Pakistani students there.

Expressing concern over the recent violence, the Presidency underscored the need to provide a conducive environment for education to Pakistani students in Kyrgyzstan.

The Pakistani Ambassador in Kyrgyzstan told the President Office that security situation is improving and the embassy is in touch with Kyrgyz government for measures to ensure security of Pakistani students.

He said the Kyrgyz government and universities will organize online classes for students returning to Pakistan.
