Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari has emphasized the necessity of implementing effective measures to completely eradicate terrorism in Balochistan, following discussions with key governmental leaders about the province’s security challenges. The discussions included a detailed review of the recent surge in terrorist activities and potential strategies to enhance law and order in the region.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the President met with Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti on Tuesday to deliberate on the ongoing security issues. The meeting encompassed a briefing on the recent incidents of terrorism and explored various proposals to stabilize the situation.
