Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif Visits Iranian Embassy to Mourn President Raisi’s Death

Islamabad, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif visited the Iranian Embassy today to express his condolences following the tragic helicopter crash that claimed the lives of Iranian President Dr. Ebrahim Raisi, Foreign Minister Amir Hossain Abdollahian, and other senior officials.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, during his visit, Prime Minister Sharif spoke with Iranian Ambassador Reza Amiri Moghaddam, paying tribute to President Raisi’s leadership and vision. Recalling their interactions over the past years, Prime Minister Sharif highlighted the late President’s significant contributions and reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to strengthening the ties between the two nations, a goal strongly supported during President Raisi’s recent visit to Pakistan.

The Prime Minister also signed the condolence book at the embassy, marking a solemn acknowledgment of the profound loss experienced by Iran and affirming the deep-rooted connection between the two countries.
