Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif Discusses Bilateral Relations with Acting Iranian President Mohammad Mokhber

Islamabad: In a significant diplomatic engagement, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif conducted a telephone conversation with the Acting President of Iran, Mohammad Mokhber, where they addressed key bilateral and regional issues.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the conversation included warm Eid ul Adha greetings from Prime Minister Sharif to the Iranian government and people, with a special mention of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. The leaders expressed mutual interest in advancing the objectives set during the late Iranian President Dr. Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi’s historic visit to Pakistan in April, aiming to deepen the bilateral relationship between the two nations. Additionally, Prime Minister Sharif extended his best wishes for the smooth conduct of the upcoming presidential elections in Iran, scheduled for June 28.
