Prime Minister visits Flood affected areas of Sindh

Islamabad: The Prime Minister of Pakistan, Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani visited the flood ravaged areas of Naukot, Sindheri and Umerkot. The members of the Flood relief Committee and the chairman National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), Dr. Zafar Qadir accompanied the Prime Minister.

As an act of concern and care for the affected souls, the Prime Minister compromised his security and freely mingled with the flood affectees during his visit of the relief camps. He enquired about the main issues faced by the affectees, provision or otherwise of the relief and instructed the concerned authorities to immediately take necessary steps to deal with those challenges.

Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani, during this visit, expressed the resolve to take every step to finally alleviate hardships of the affectees.
