Karachi: The transfer books for BankIslami Ehad Sukuk I (BIPLSC) will be temporarily closed at the end of July to determine entitlements for the upcoming monthly profit payment.
Notice has been issued for the temporary closure of the transfer books of BankIslami Ehad Sukuk I, known as BIPLSC. This closure is scheduled to occur from July 30, 2024, to July 31, 2024, to facilitate the determination of entitlements for the monthly profit payment due on July 31, 2024. Transfer requests must be received by the CDC Share Registrar Services Limited in Karachi by the close of business on Monday, July 29, to be processed in time for this payment.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), this temporary closure is a routine procedure necessary for the accurate distribution of profits to the sukuk holders. It ensures that all transfers of BIPLSC are properly accounted for before the profit distribution date.
