Protest Planned Outside Indian High Commission in Islamabad by APHC-AJK

Islamabad: The All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter, in collaboration with the Kashmir Liberation Cell, will stage a protest outside the Indian High Commission on July 8, marking the anniversary of Burhan Muzaffar Wani’s death.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the APHC-AJK’s decision to protest was confirmed during a meeting in Islamabad, chaired by Convener Ghulam Muhammad Safi. The gathering was also attended by media chief Najeeb-ul-Ghafoor Khan and Raja Rashid Raza from the Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Cell. The protest aims to draw attention to Wani’s legacy and is expected to attract government ministers, Hurriyat leaders, representatives of the Kashmiri community from Rawalpindi and Islamabad, as well as media personnel.
