Punjab Chief Minister Seeks to Boost Economic Ties with Qatar

Lahore, In a concerted effort to enhance economic relations between Punjab and Qatar, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, alongside Pakistan Muslim League-N President Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, met with the Qatari Ambassador to Pakistan, H.E. Mr. Ali Bin Mubarak Al Khater.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Punjab, the meeting focused on exploring potential investment opportunities in Punjab, increasing the supply of skilled labor from the province, and furthering cooperation in infrastructure development. Chief Minister Sharif briefed Ambassador Al Khater on the business-friendly policies of the Punjab government and extended an invitation to Qatari businessmen and industrialists to invest in the region. The discussions also emphasized strengthening bilateral relations and identifying new areas of cooperation. The Qatari Ambassador commended the skilled labor force of Pakistan and expressed an interest in enhancing the recruitment of skilled workers from Punjab.
