Punjab Chief Minister takes notice of death of youth due to stray kite twine in Faisalabad

Lahore, February 09, 2018 (PPI-OT): Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has taken notice of the incident of kites flying in Faisalabad. He has expressed his strong displeasure over flying of kites despite ban. The Chief Minister has expressed deep sense of sorrow and grief over the death of a youth due to stray kite twine. He has extended heartfelt sympathies and condolences to the bereaved family.

He has also sought a report from the RPO Faisalabad and directed to take legal action against the responsible persons for this negligence. He has further directed that ban on kites flying should be strictly implemented adding that such incidents are intolerable and action should be initiated against the violators of law.
