Punjab CM Launches Pakistan’s First E-Taxi Scheme

Punjab: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz launched Pakistan’s first e-Taxi Scheme in the province today.

According to Radio Pakistan, in the initial phase, eleven-hundred electric vehicles will be provided as part of this initiative. Under this scheme, a thirty percent quota has been allocated for women, and taxis operated by female drivers will feature a distinct color for easy identification.
