Punjab Food Minister Criticizes Modi’s Actions on Kashmir Exploitation Day

Lahore: In a strong denunciation during Kashmir Exploitation Day, Punjab Food Minister Bilal Yasin condemned Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 2019 revocation of Kashmiri rights, labeling it as an illegal and forceful act that reflects extremist ideologies.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Punjab, Minister Yasin expressed vehement disapproval of the Indian government’s actions on August 5, 2019, which stripped Kashmiris of their special status. “Pakistan does not accept the Indian government’s illegal military occupation in any way,” Yasin stated, emphasizing that the only acceptable resolution to the Kashmir issue is one that adheres to United Nations resolutions, ensuring a fair, just, and independent outcome.

Yasin further declared Pakistan’s unwavering commitment to supporting the Kashmiri people, advocating for their rights on every international platform. He also called upon the United Nations to take decisive actions against the ongoing atrocities committed against Kashmiris, as well as Palestinian Muslims. “The government and people of Pakistan will not leave their brothers alone in difficult times,” affirmed Yasin.
