Punjab Public Service Commission Announces Competitive Exams for Various Government Posts

Lahore: The Public Service Commission Punjab has released details of upcoming competitive examinations for a range of government posts across various departments. The exams are scheduled to take place on multiple dates in October 2024, aiming to fill positions in the Board of Revenue, Population Welfare Department, Housing Urban Development & Public Health Engineering Department, and others.

According to Public Service Commission Punjab, the exams are set to fill positions such as Tehsildar, Consolidation Officer, Hill Torrent Officer, Reader to Members Board of Revenue, Naib Tehsildar in multiple cities including Lahore, Rawalpindi, and Gujranwala. Notably, the exam for these posts will incorporate a multiple-choice question (MCQ) format and is scheduled for the morning of October 12, 2024.

Additionally, exams for the posts of Nursing Instructor and Sister Tutor in the Population Welfare Department are scheduled for the evening of the same day. These exams will also be in an MCQ format.

The schedule further includes tests for Assistant Director Town Planning and Subject Specialist in Pak Studies, with exams slated for October 12 and 13, 2024. The comprehensive exams will aim at filling posts across departments like the Housing Urban Development & Public Health Engineering Department and Punjab Special Education Department.

The announcement also highlighted the significant interest in these positions, with hundreds of applications received for each post. For instance, the posts of Assistant Director Town Planning alone attracted a total of 247 applications.

This recruitment drive by the Public Service Commission Punjab underlines its ongoing efforts to enhance the administrative capabilities of various government departments, ensuring efficient and effective public service delivery across the province.
