Punjab University spokesman condemns Islami Jamiat Talaba for harassing Dr Munawar

Lahore: A Punjab University Spokesman has strongly condemned Islami Jamiat Talaba for illegally detaining Superintendent Hostel No. 1 Assistant Professor Dr Munawar Sabir. He said the administration would take disciplinary action against the illegal boarders in the hostels.

It is pertinent of mention here that Dr Munawar Sabir locked the rooms of illegal occupants of the hostel the previous night and in reaction, some activists of IJT locked the house of Superintendent and poured elfi into it.

The spokesman said further that the administration neither in the past nor now would be blackmailed by these elements. The spokesman said criminals were operating in the ranks of Islami Jamiat Talba (IJT) and warned it to stop backing culprits. He said the administration, following its previous policies, would not allow these hooligans to disturb the peaceful academic environment of the varsity and would take disciplinary action against them.
