Qaim Ali Shah exchange Eid greetings political leaders

Karachi, August 23, 2012 (PPI-OT): The office bearers and leaders of various political parties today exchanged Eid Greetings with Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah at C.M House.

Those who met with Chief Minister Sindh included President ANP Sindh Senator Shahi Syed, General Secretary ANP Sindh Basheer Jaan, Mr. Muhammad Hussain Mehnati Ameer Jamat-e-Islami Karachi Ulma-e-Islam Karachi City, Muhammad Aslam Ghori, Molana Muhammad Sadiq, Syed Hamadullah Shah (JUI), Mr. Haleem Adil Shaikh (PML-Q), Haji Hanif Tayyab President Nizam-e-Mustafa Party, Khawaja Muhammad Ashraf (Minhajul Quran), Haji Siddique Rathore (JUP), Mr. Abdullah Ghazi, Khan Amanullah Khan PML (Qayyum League), Mr. Basharat Mirza (PDP), Malik Ayoub Awan (PPI), Mufti Ferozuddin Hazarvi (Mutahida Ulmah Forum ) and others.

The meeting was also attended by General Secretary PPP Sindh Mr. Taj Haider, Mr. Najmi Alam General Secretary PPP Karachi Division, Senator Saeed Ghani, Senior Special Assistant to C.M Mr. Rashid Rabbani, Special Assistant to C.M Mr. Waqar Mehdi , Mr. Siddique Abu Bhai and others.

On the occasion, various leaders discussed matters pertaining to law and order and other related issues with Chief Minister Sindh. The leaders were of the view that stern action be taken against drug peddlers, extortionists, and target killers.

The political leaders stressed that impartial action be taken against criminals so that peaceful atmosphere is promptly maintained. Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah said that due to prompt measures, there is reasonable decrease in the target killing incidents and the trend of Bhatta Khori is also being crushed strictly.

He stressed upon Political leaders to assist the government in its measures against criminals and Parchee mafia. Syed Qaim Ali Shah said that he had personally paid visit of trade centres, bazzars, and commercial areas during the month of Holy Ramadan where many small traders had appreciated the efforts of Government. Syed Qaim Ali Shah added that in case of any crime, no one comes ahead for witness.

He further added that President of Pakistan is regularly reviewing law and order situation every month, while he himself holds law and order meetings every week. Chief Minister Sindh added that law enforcement agencies had arrested the criminals after full efforts, but the same are being released by courts on bail. Chief Minister said that the people enjoyed late shopping’s at various commercial centers and Eid-ul fitre also passed with peaceful atmosphere.

He added that it was only due to action taken by the government that there was no any incident in Karachi on the eve of Eid-ul-fitre. The Chief Minister Sindh appreciated that suggestions of various leaders to hold meetings with political parties individually and collectively for maintenance of law and order in Karachi. The leaders of political parties assured the Chief Minister Sindh in its endeavour for redressal of problems confronted to the masses.
