Quetta Honors Deputy Commissioner Zakir Baloch with Dignified Funeral

Quetta: The funeral prayer for Deputy Commissioner Panjgur, Shaheed Zakir Baloch, was solemnly held at the Central Police Office in Quetta on Tuesday, attended by high-ranking officials from both civil and military sectors. The ceremony saw the participation of key figures including Governor Balochistan Sheikh Jafar Khan Mandukhel and Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, other notable attendees included Corps Commander Balochistan Lieutenant General Rahat Naseem Ahmad Khan, several provincial ministers, and Chief Secretary Balochistan Shakeel Qadir Khan, among others. The funeral was a profound display of respect, with Zakir Baloch’s coffin draped in the Pakistani flag, symbolizing his service and sacrifice. Post-ceremony, his body was sent to his native place for burial with full honors, reflecting the high esteem in which he was held.
