Rallies in AJK Honor Burhan Wani’s Martyrdom Anniversary

Kotli: Commemorative rallies were held in the Gulpur area of Kotli and the Athmuqam area of Neelum in Azad Jammu and Kashmir to mark the martyrdom anniversary of Burhan Wani and his associates. These rallies drew participants from various sectors of society who paid tribute to Wani’s legacy and the ongoing struggle for Kashmiri independence.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the rally in Gulpur was organized by the Jammu and Kashmir Freedom Movement. Vice Chairman Qazi Imran and Sardar Haji Arif of the Muhajirin Ittehad Forum led the procession. Speakers at the rally, including Khwaja Ayaz, Raja Aftab Arif, and Dr. Muzammil Zaidi, expressed a unified resolve to continue the fight for freedom from Indian control and called for international support for Kashmir’s self-determination efforts.

In Neelum, the Jammu Kashmir Men’s League hosted a protest in Athmuqam, reaffirming commitment to the cause and denouncing Indian policies in the region. Participants displayed banners and chanted slogans emphasizing their dedication to the principles for which Wani fought.
