Renewable Energy Expansion at Din Textile Mills Limited

Karachi, The Board of Directors of Din Textile Mills Limited has officially sanctioned the expansion of its solar energy capacity, allowing management to engage with various vendors for the installation of additional solar panels and accessories. This initiative will increase the total solar capacity of the company to 8 megawatts (MW).

Currently, Din Textile Mills operates a solar power installation capable of generating 5.5 MW. An additional 2.5 MW capacity is underway, with the letter of credit (LC) process for the acquisition nearing completion. This expansion is part of the company’s broader strategy to enhance energy efficiency, reduce costs, and commit to sustainable operational practices that align with international standards and local regulations.
