Islamabad: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar has announced that negotiations with Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) regarding their demands will continue today.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Tarar expressed optimism about the ongoing dialogue, noting that earlier discussions had been fruitful and were expected to lead to positive outcomes. The talks are taking place at the Office of the Commissioner in Rawalpindi, involving senior government officials and representatives from JI.
The government delegation includes Attaullah Tarar, Minister for Kashmir Affairs and States and Frontier Regions Amir Muqam, Minister for Energy Awais Leghari, Prime Minister’s Media Coordinator Badar Shahbaz, and Senior Leader of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhry. Liaquat Baloch is leading the JI team, with members of a technical committee also present to assist in the negotiations.
