Rizwan Calls for Initiating Pak-US High-Level Economic Dialogue

Pakistan: Pakistan’s Ambassador to the US Rizwan Saeed Sheikh has emphasized the need to initiate a high-level economic dialogue between Pakistan and the US at the earliest. He made the remarks during his meeting with Chairman of the US House Committee on Foreign Affairs Brian Mast.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Ambassador stressed the importance of comprehensive and immediate dialogue in the fields of energy, defence, minerals, information technology, and artificial intelligence. Rizwan Saeed Sheikh said Pakistan, with its low-cost and high-quality capabilities, is well-positioned to meet the growing needs of the US market. He noted that surgical instruments and products manufactured in Pakistan are renowned worldwide for their quality.

The Ambassador said a favourable trade environment and due attention would lead to a definite increase in textile and other Pakistani exports. Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening cooperation in economic, security, and other fields.
