Dubai, June 01, 2015 (PPI-OT): Ambassador Javed Malik, President of the Diplomat Business Club based in UAE hosted a prestigious diplomatic reception which was attended by Ambassadors and Consul Generals representing United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Turkey, Bahrain, Japan, China, Korea, Netherlands in addition to international businessmen from Italy, UK, France, Germany, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Pakistan and many other countries.
Also present were members of the Royal family from Dubai, Sharjah and Fujairah and other prominent Emiratis. The Diplomat Business Club has established itself a premier business networking forum that brings together some of the most prominent personalities from the region including Chairmen and CEOs of some of the largest groups based in UAE and the Gulf states.
Also present on the occasion were representatives of the business groups that joined Ambassador Javed Malik on two separate delegations that visited Pakistan in May 2015. Addressing the illustrious gathering of diplomats and business leaders, Ambassador Javed Malik highlighted the significance of trade diplomacy and said “In today’s world people, communities and countries continue to find new avenues of cooperation, and in diplomacy trade and investment have become much more relevant than before.
At the diplomat business club we bring together diplomats and business men in order to create opportunities to expand our horizons and build positive goodwill among people and communities. British Ambassador to the UAE, Philip Parham also spoke on the occasion and expressed his appreciation to Ambassador Javed Malik for his ongoing efforts through the diplomatic club.
The Dean of the diplomatic corps in Dubai and Northern Emirates, Emad Madani, and senior diplomats representing 30 countries were present on the occasion along with businessmen and presidents of business councils. Chairmen and CEOs of prominent UAE based companies were also present.
