Jammu: Indian police have reportedly discovered a rusty grenade in the parking lot of the High Court in the Udhampur district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, triggering a swift law enforcement response.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the grenade was located in the Janipur area’s court parking space. A police spokesperson detailed that upon notification of the grenade’s presence, officers were promptly dispatched to secure the area and retrieve the device.

The police have initiated a thorough investigation into the incident, and a case has been registered to trace the origins of the grenade and determine potential security lapses. The discovery has heightened security measures in and around court premises.
