Karachi: Samba Bank Limited has notified the closure of its Transfer Books for the holders of Tier II Term Finance Certificates (TFC) for the upcoming seventh profit payment.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the closure period is set from August 26, 2024, to August 31, 2024, encompassing both days. This action aligns with the provisions of the CDC Regulations, specifically Regulation Nos. 12.1.1, 12.2.1, and 12.4.1.
The bank has specified that this notice pertains solely to the TFC holders, underlining the specifics of the corporate action that does not involve any entitlements as recommended by the Board of Directors or the allotment of bonus securities.
Additionally, Samba Bank urges all account holders and sub-account holders to ensure their registration details are updated in accordance with the provisions of the Central Depositories Act, 1997, and the relevant CDC Regulations.
