Sargodha, The Punjab Police have apprehended Muhammad Sarwar, the primary suspect accused of setting fire to a farmer’s livestock due to a personal feud, in an operation led by the Sargodha District Police.
According to Punjab Police, the arrest follows an immediate investigation initiated by Inspector General Dr. Usman Anwar, who directed the District Police Officer (DPO) of Sargodha to ensure stringent actions against those involved. The case, which has gained attention due to the nature of the crime and the status of the accused, involves significant destruction, with six livestock reportedly set ablaze.
The DPO Sargodha, Dr. Asad Ijaz Malhi, confirmed that a case was promptly registered at Bhagtanwala police station, and while the main suspect is in custody, his accomplices, including his wife Naseem Bibi and son Ali, have secured pre-arrest bail. The police vow to continue their pursuit of justice, ensuring all those responsible face the full severity of the law, regardless of their influence.
