Security Forces Eliminate Wanted Terrorist Leader in Buner, KP

Islamabad, In a targeted operation conducted by security forces in Buner District, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, terrorist ring leader Saleem alias Rabbani was killed, and two of his associates were injured. The operation also resulted in the martyrdom of two Pakistani soldiers, further underscoring the ongoing battle against terrorism in the region.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Saleem was involved in numerous terrorist activities, including attacks against security forces, extortion, and the targeted killings of civilians. Recognized as a high-value target, the government had previously announced a head money of five million rupees for information leading to his capture or death. The ISPR statement highlighted that the sacrifices of Lance Havildar Mudassar Mehmood and Lance Naik Haseeb Javed, who fought valiantly and were martyred during the operation, reinforce the military’s resolve to combat terrorism.
