Senate Special Committee on non-implementation of the building code and civic regulations in sectors

Islamabad, February 16, 2018 (PPI-OT): Senate Special Committee on non-implementation of the building code and civic regulations in sectors H-13, E-11 and other private un-acquired land by CDA and ICT in Islamabad in its meeting on Friday heard Minister of State for Capital Administration and Development Division, Member CDA, Deputy Commissioner Islamabad, SECP and private builders doing businesses in E-11 and H-13.

The Committee meeting was held under the chairmanship of Senator Javed Abbasi here at the Parliament House and was attended among others by Senators Mohsin Leghari, Mohsin Aziz, Taj Haider, Minister for State Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhry and Secretary CADD. Members of the Committee decided to discuss internally the issue of illegal schemes in the two sectors and the inability of CDA to stop them and work on recommendations regarding a third party independent investigation and inquiry into the matter.
