Islamabad: In a pivotal Senate debate, members across the political spectrum have urged the creation of a joint counter-terrorism strategy to eradicate terrorism from Pakistan, particularly addressing recent violent incidents in Balochistan. The call emphasizes the need for a national consensus and strategic dialogue involving politicians, intellectuals, and scholars to forge a resilient path forward.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the senators engaged in a comprehensive discussion, highlighting the urgency of setting aside political differences to prioritize national security.
