Sports Board Punjab conducts Exhibition matches on Independence Day

Lahore, August 13 2013 (PPI-OT): Sports Board Punjab is going to celebrate the Independence Day by conducting sports events at various venues in Lahore alongwith a number of sports events thruoughout Punjab. On the directions of Director General Sports Punjab Dr.Mohammed Saleh Tahir, the sports competitions including Hockey,Swimming,Badminton and Kabaddi will be held in Lahore in connection to celebrate the I’Day whole heartedly. As per the details, the exhibition Hockey match will be held at National Hockey Stadium,Lahore on August 13th,2013 at 11 AM.

The Director General SPorts Punjab Dr.Mohammed Saleh Tahir will be the chief guest on this occasion while Swimming competitions will be held at Model Town Club Swimming pool ,Model Town Lahore at 5 PM on same day.

The Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan will be the Chief Guest on this event. The Badminton and Kabaddi both will be held on 14th August ,2013 .The Badminton competitions will be played at Iqbal park sports complex at 10 AM while Kabaddi, at Punjab Stadium at 5 PM respectively.
