Sri Lankan Envoy Advocates for Strengthened Relations with Pakistan Across Multiple Sectors

Islamabad: Sri Lanka is dedicated to fortifying its relationship with Pakistan in various fields, aiming to enhance economic integration and address regional challenges together.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, during an interview with the Associated Press of Pakistan (APP), the Sri Lankan envoy expressed a commitment to boosting collaborative efforts between the two nations. He highlighted the current bilateral trade volume, which stands at approximately one billion dollars, suggesting there is substantial potential for growth. The envoy particularly called for an increase in Pakistan’s exports to Sri Lanka to further strengthen economic ties.
