Strengthening alternate energy system govt’s top priority: PM

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has said strengthening the alternate energy system is the top priority of the government.

He said this while talking to the Chairman of the China Power, who called on him in Beijing today.

The Prime Minister said Pakistan has immense potential for investment in the domain of alternate energy.

He said a massive crackdown against power theft is continuing.

Acknowledging Pakistan and Punjab Speed, the Chairman of Power China commended the swift construction and standard of Sahiwal Coal Power Plant.

He said a Memorandum of Understanding will be signed with Pakistan to improve the power transmission and reduce line losses.
