Sui Southern Gas Company Limited Appoints New Director

Karachi: Sui Southern Gas Company Limited (SSGCL) has announced the appointment of Mr. Zafar Abbas as a Director on the Board, effective August 5, 2024. Mr. Abbas, nominated by the Ministry of Energy (Petroleum Division), replaces Mr. Shahbaz Tahir Nadeem.

The appointment reflects a key change in SSGCL’s leadership and governance. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the Board co-opted Mr. Abbas to enhance the company’s strategic direction and oversight. His nomination and subsequent appointment were communicated to the TRE Certificate Holders of the Exchange as per regulatory requirements.
