Karachi: Systems Limited (SYS) has announced the acquisition of Confiz Limited, marking a significant expansion in its capabilities and market reach. The acquisition, conducted through a 100% share swap, is expected to enhance Systems Limited’s revenue by approximately 10% as it integrates one of Pakistan’s leading IT firms into its portfolio.
The corporate briefing session outlined that Confiz Limited, with its strong focus on the retail and consumer packaged goods sectors, operates predominantly in the North American market. This strategic acquisition aligns with Systems Limited’s growth objectives, as Confiz’s revenue per employee surpasses that of Systems, owing to its focus on the Microsoft ecosystem and a diverse global workforce.
Confiz Limited brings a broad client base, including several Fortune 100 companies, with minimal overlap with Systems’ existing clientele. The transaction is anticipated to finalize within three months, pending court and regulatory approvals.
In addition to the Confiz acquisition, Systems Limited has completed the integration of BAT SAA, with operations having commenced in November 2025. The company also indicated a strategic exit from several loss-making contracts in the domestic market, aiming for profitability through stable and sustainable growth rather than hyper growth in Pakistan.
Growth prospects in the Saudi market have shown improvement this quarter, with expectations of further momentum in 2026 as public sector investments are released. Employee attrition has seen an improvement, attributed in part to visa constraints in the Middle East, and Systems Limited has successfully retained its senior leadership.
Analysts from JS Global maintain a BUY stance on Systems Limited, projecting a promising price-to-earnings ratio for the coming years.
