Karachi: Having introduced a debut collection of fabrics and prints last year to much popularity and acclaim the House of HSY introduces a brand new designer lawn collection for the season with The World of HSY Prints this coming March to be followed by a limited edition prints collection later in the summer, specifically in celebration of Eid.
The House of HSY also proudly announces the launch of a brand new collection this year, HSY Nation – a range of prints that has been designed, printed and priced to cater to a wider diversity of people, thereby bringing the fashion houses’ coveted aesthetic to a larger audience of women in Pakistan. HSY Nation will be available in April directly through a list of nationwide stockists.
This year and as manifest across all three collections, the design house draws aesthetic inspiration from global culture referencing the Ottoman Empire, paisleys from Persia, florals from Havana, Ikat from South America to the regal embroideries and motifs of Lucknow. Following the trend of unisex prints set last year, The World of HSY Prints and now HSY Nation will also feature the unisex print options.
Speaking about the expansion of his prints into three annual collections, head designer and CEO of the HSY design house Hassan Sheheryar Yasin said “We are incredibly excited to be expanding our design and retail to three distinct collection of prints this year, all launching one after the other, marking a complete HSY lawn journey the season.
I am particularly pleased to launch our new brand HSY Nation through which we are now able to cater to a wider audience allowing us to be one of the first designer lawns’ to respond to so many different audiences. All of our prints are being heavily quality tested internationally as well, so be it a World of HSY Print or something from our HSY Nation line, we will give our clients quality products.”
The World of HSY Prints will be exhibited in Lahore on the 9th and 10th March 2012 and Karachi on the 10th and 11th of March 2012 with an Eid collection to be retailed through distributers later this summer.
