Srinagar: A tragic incident occurred in the Nowgam Handwara area of Kupwara district, Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, where a minor girl drowned on Friday.
According to Kashmir Media Service, officials reported that the young daughter of Shafeeq Khan, a resident of Nowgam Handwara, Kupwara, lost her life in River Mawar. The local community was quick to respond, retrieving the body from the river. Police have acknowledged the incident and are conducting an inquiry into the circumstances surrounding the drowning.
