According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, during a press briefing in New York, Deputy Spokesperson for the UN Secretary General, Farhan Haq, stated that any final settlement of the Jammu and Kashmir issue must be achieved through peaceful means. This approach should adhere to the principles outlined in the Charter of the United Nations, with a strong emphasis on full respect for human rights.
