Under-Training ASPs Tour Police Lines Headquarters in Islamabad

Islamabad: Assistant Superintendents of Police (ASPs) currently in training at the National Police Academy recently visited the Police Lines Headquarters in Islamabad as part of their curriculum to better understand the operational and security dynamics of the police force.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, the visit included comprehensive briefings and tours facilitated by DIG Law and Order and Training, Shakir Hussain Dawar, and the Principal of Capital Police College, Mehfooz Kayani. The ASPs were introduced to the various critical functions and facilities of the Islamabad Police.

During their visit, the delegation explored multiple units within the Police Lines, examining offices, the quarter guard, roznamcha (daily log), armory, various storage facilities for equipment and uniforms, and a firing range. These interactions are intended to provide the trainees with practical insights into the day-to-day workings of the police force, enhancing their training experience and preparing them for future roles in law enforcement.

The visit underscores the importance of field-based learning in police training programs, aiming to equip the future officers with the knowledge and skills needed to perform their duties effectively.
