Uzbek fair Presidential Election good sign for bilateral ties with Pakistan: experts

Islamabad, July 19, 2023 (PPI-OT): A Pakistani observer delegation has termed the Presidential Election in Uzbekistan as free, fair and transparent and a good omen for bilateral cooperation and regional connectivity. They were speaking at a forum in Islamabad to share their findings about Uzbekistan’s presidential elections.

Speaking on the occasion, Uzbek Ambassador to Pakistan Aybek Arif Usmanov said new constitutional reforms in Uzbekistan aim at re-connectivity through flights, road linkages and Trilateral Train from Uzbekistan through Afghanistan to Pakistan. He said these initiatives will increase volume of trade to 400 million dollars in next few months or a year.
