Srinagar, May 07, 2023 (PPI-OT): Awami Action Committee (AAC) has expressed grief over the demise of Sofi Bashir Ahmad, the elder brother of the organisation’s youth wing leader Sofi Mushtaq Ahmad.
In a statement, the AAC on behalf of the organisation and its incarcerated Chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq who continues to be under house arrest for the last nearly four years paid tribute to the deceased for his contribution to the society, and termed the demise a big loss for the people of Srinagar. The AAC expressed condolence with the Sofi family.
