adam&eveDDB crowned Cannes Lions 2014 Agency of the Year amid massive 22 Lion Awards haul

LONDON, June 24, 2014 / PRNewswire — adam&eveDDB, the DDB network’s UK agency, capped off an impressive week at Cannes last night by winning the coveted Agency of the Year prize.

In total, the agency was awarded a massive 22 Lions including four Grand Prix, seven Gold, four Silver and Seven Bronze Lions across a mix of media and six clients – Harvey Nichols, John Lewis, Google Unilever, Diageo and Volkswagen.

The Harvey Nichols 2013 Christmas campaign, ‘Sorry, I Spent It On Myself’, won the Grand Prix in four categories: Promo, Press, Film and Titanium & Integrated. It also picked up five Gold Lions, amongst others.

Two Gold awards were also given to the Unilever Marmite ‘End Marmite Neglect’ campaign in the Press and Outdoor categories.

The rest of the agency’s massive haul was made of Bronze and Silver Lions across a range of categories for John Lewis ‘The Bear & The Hare’, Diageo’s Smithwick’s Squirrel, Volkswagen ‘Teddy Tragedy’ and ‘Value’, and Google ‘Front Row’.
