Islamabad, June 17, 2023 (PPI-OT): The Azad Jammu and Kashmir President, Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry, has appealed to the United Nations to play its due role in resolving the long-pending Kashmir dispute peacefully. Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry was talking to a well-known writer and poet Huma Tahir, who called on him in Islamabad on Saturday.
He said that the UN resolutions, calling for a referendum in Jammu and Kashmir, were still effective and applicable. He also expressed deep concern over the continued bloodshed and violence in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
