Amarnath Yatra remains suspended for 4th consecutive day

Jammu, July 11, 2023 (PPI-OT): The Amarnath Yatra remained suspended for the fourth consecutive day on Tuesday due to a closure of the Jammu-Srinagar highway. The highway got extensive damage to its Ramban section, leaving 15,000 Yatris stranded in Jammu and at other places in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

Incessant rains have caused unprecedented damage to the highway, especially the stretch falling in Ramban district, forcing its closure for traffic on Monday, the traffic authorities said.
