ANF Seizes 426kg of Drugs in Mardan Operation

Mardan: Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has recovered four hundred and twenty-six kilograms of drugs from various locations of a private housing society in Mardan.

According to Radio Pakistan, the drugs were stored in Mardan with the help of local facilitators and had been smuggled from Afghanistan. The drugs were transported through Tirah and Bara in small consignments, eventually reaching Mardan.

ANF, in its operation, arrested one person carrying a large quantity of hashish in his car. Based on his identification, drugs were recovered from several homes. In total, 426 kilograms of hashish and four vehicles were seized, and efforts are ongoing to arrest other accused persons.

The estimated value of the confiscated drugs in the international drug market is 22.4 million dollars. According to the ANF spokesperson, thirty-one such networks were dismantled over the course of the year, including seven organized groups involved in drug smuggling.
