Karachi, Ansari Sugar Mills Limited has informed its members that seven individuals have submitted notices of their intention to stand for election as Directors at the upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM) scheduled for August 16, 2023. Pursuant to section 159(4) of the Companies Act, 2017, the candidates are seeking election for the next three-year term commencing from August 16, 2023. As the number of candidates matches the available director positions set by the Board of Directors under section 159(1), all seven candidates are set to be elected during the AGM.
