A varied duration anti-polio campaign will start on Monday in selected districts of Punjab, Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
In Punjab, a seven day special anti-polio drive in six high risk districts of Lahore, Rawalpindi, Bahawalpur, Lodhran, Muzaffargarh and Gujranwala will begin on Monday.
More than five million children will be administered anti-polio vaccine drops.
A seven day special anti-polio vaccination campaign in sixteen districts of Sindh including Karachi will start from Monday.
During the campaign, around four point seven million children below five years age will be administered anti-polio vaccine drops.
A-five-day anti-polio vaccination campaign will begin in eleven districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa from Monday.
According to Emergency Center Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, a polio campaign will be conducted in Swabi, Swat, Tank, North Waziristan, South Waziristan Upper and South Waziristan Lower while partially in selected union councils of D.I Khan, Peshawar, Kurram, Bannu and Lakki Marwat districts.
During the campaign about one-point three million children up to five years of age will be administered anti-polio drops.
