APHC-AJK Lauds OIC Support for Kashmir at International Summit

Islamabad, The All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter has expressed gratitude towards the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) for its unwavering support of the Kashmir cause. This acknowledgment comes following the OIC’s adoption of a declaration that emphasized the need for resolving long-standing disputes like those in Palestine and Jammu and Kashmir in accordance with United Nations resolutions.

According to Kashmir Media Service, APHC-AJK Convener Mehmood Ahmed Saghar praised the OIC’s strong stance on international issues during a statement issued in Islamabad. He highlighted the OIC’s call for an immediate cessation of the Palestinian genocide by Israel and its solidarity with the people of Palestine and Kashmir under challenging circumstances. Saghar noted that the OIC’s reaffirmation of political, moral, and diplomatic support significantly bolstered the spirits of those in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).

Further expressions of gratitude came from APHC-AJK leader Altaf Hussain Wani, who also thanked the deputy prime minister and foreign minister of Pakistan, Ishaq Dar, for his compelling statement on Kashmir at the OIC summit in Banjul, the Gambian capital. Wani stressed the international community’s need to take decisive steps toward resolving the Kashmir and Palestine issues, which have led to extensive loss of life over the years.
