Islamabad: President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry, paid tribute to the late Ghazi Millat Sardar Ibrahim Khan on his 21st birth anniversary, highlighting his foundational role in the region’s formation and development. In a message delivered from Kashmir House in Islamabad, President Chaudhry detailed the numerous contributions of Sardar Ibrahim Khan, from infrastructure projects to educational initiatives, underscoring his lasting impact on Azad Kashmir.

According to President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Sardar Ibrahim Khan was instrumental in establishing Azad Kashmir’s first government in 1947 and was a pivotal figure during Chaudhry’s tenure as Prime Minister from 1996 to 2001. Under his guidance, significant projects like the Jagran Hydro Project and the Cadet College Palindri were completed, which have played a crucial role in the region’s progress. President Chaudhry also credited him with the development of vital infrastructure and educational facilities across Azad Kashmir.
