Balochistan Chief Minister Urges Swift Approval and Completion of Development Projects

Quetta: In a decisive move to accelerate regional development, Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti has mandated the approval of all pending development projects by the end of the month, aiming for a swift implementation to benefit the public. He emphasized the importance of collaboration with Assembly members to ensure the expedited completion of these initiatives.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the review meeting chaired by Chief Minister Bugti was briefed by the Additional Chief Secretary of Development on the progress of both ongoing and newly introduced projects for the fiscal year 2024-25. The updates included sector-wise advancements and the status of project authorizations and fund releases.

Chief Minister Bugti stressed the necessity of obtaining timely approvals from the relevant authorities to facilitate the early realization of development benefits for the populace. He expressed a commitment to overcoming bureaucratic hurdles and ensuring that development projects are systematically and efficiently completed. The meeting was also attended by Provincial Finance Minister Mir Shoaib Naushirwani, Chief Secretary Balochistan Shakeel Qadir Khan, and Additional Chief Secretary Planning and Development Hafiz Abdul Basit, among other key financial and planning officials.
