Naseerabad, Provincial Adviser for Women Development, Dr. Rababa Khan Bilidi, announced new initiatives aimed at enhancing the lives of women in Balochistan, including the establishment of a state-of-the-art digital library in Dera Murad Jamali and a Women’s Crisis Center. These projects are part of a broader effort to provide improved educational, health, and economic opportunities to women, particularly those in remote areas.
According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, Dr. Bilidi discussed these plans during a visit to Naseerabad, where she highlighted the upcoming budget’s focus on feasible projects for women’s development. The digital library will be the first of its kind in the Nasirabad district, offering access to major international libraries and online research materials. Additionally, Dr. Bilidi noted the recent establishment of the first women’s police station in Dera Murad Jamali, which provides legal assistance and guidance to women. These initiatives, she stated, are part of the provincial government’s commitment under Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti to economically empower women and elevate their quality of life.
