Bank Alfalah and BISP Collaborate to Enhance Beneficiary Services

Islamabad: In a move aimed at bolstering the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP), Bank Alfalah’s top executives, including President & CEO Mr. Atif Bajwa and Group Head of Digital Banking Mr. Yahya Khan, met with Senator Rubina Khalid, Chairperson of BISP. The meeting, held at BISP headquarters, focused on improving transparency in payment processes and enhancing the dignity of female beneficiaries.

According to Press Information Department, the discussions centered on treating BISP beneficiaries as valued clients and removing unnecessary deductions from their stipends. Senator Khalid emphasized the importance of these changes to ensure fairness and respect in the handling of beneficiary accounts. The meeting also addressed the need for technical and skill training for beneficiaries, with Mr. Bajwa committing to pilot skill training projects in collaboration with BISP. These initiatives are designed to be developed and implemented through close consultation between BISP and Bank Alfalah’s technical teams to guarantee effective outcomes and positive impacts for the beneficiaries.
