Bank of Khyber Names New Director from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Government

Peshawar: The Bank of Khyber announced the appointment of a new director to its board today, as Mr. Ikram Ullah Khan takes on the role representing the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), Mr. Khan, currently the Senior Member of the Board of Revenue in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, has been authorized by the provincial government through a recent notification to hold additional charge as the Secretary of the Finance Department.

Mr. Khan replaces Mr. Amer Sultan Tareen and will assume his new responsibilities effective immediately, further strengthening the ties between the financial institution and the provincial government. This strategic appointment is expected to be communicated to the TRE Certificate Holders of the Exchange to ensure all stakeholders are informed of the leadership transition.
